Musician, composer, producer and audio engineer from New York City College and The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music. His work has been awarded two Latin Grammy Awards, nominated for an Anglo Grammy Award and winner of the bronze statue at the London International Awards.
He began his career in New York City, where he lived for 7 years and where he had the opportunity to work with artists such as Norah Jones, T.S. Monk, Patti Smith, Chico Freeman, Ronnie Spector, Ryan Adams, The Ramones and Grandmaster Flash, among others.
Since his return to Colombia in 2005, his production work has been instrumental in the musical development of the most significant Colombian independent artists of the past 10 years such as ChocQuibTown, Puerto Candelaria, Sidestepper, Los Gaiteros de San Jacinto, Monsieur Periné, Las Añez and Julio Victoria, among many others.
