Andrea Matamoros serves as Lead Modeler at Sony Pictures Imageworks. Her career in the animation industry started back in 2011 after she graduated from the Vancouver Film School and was hired as a 3D artist at a small start-up studio in Vancouver, Canada. After the years passed, she was presented with the opportunity to work in several studios with varied approaches from video games production, all the way to stereo conversion, VFX, and most recently animation.

In the year 2016, she joined the modeling team at Sony Pictures Imageworks and had her first work as a lead modeler in the most recent Netflix animated feature film produced by Pearl Studios "Over the Moon."
