Jose Luis is the founder of the Spanish audiovisual producer company Paramotion Films. A company that since the year 2002, has been engaged in the production of animated movies, event planning and production, digital post-production, and audiovisual training. Jose Luis is the creator and Director of the WEIRD Market, the international market of animation, video games, and new media, which takes place in Segovia, Spain, now on its twelfth edition. He is also the creator and Director of the Ibero-American animation awards, the Quirino Awards (2018-2020). Besides, he is also the co-creator and co-director Bridging the Gap - Animation Gap (2015-2019) and the Spanish ambassador of the EAA (European Animation Emile Awards.)

He has served as adviser and consultant for organizations like Culture Council of Chile, Proimagenes Colombia, Pixelati (Mexico), Ruta N Medellin (Colombia), and SPET Tenerife Tourism, and for international events such as Annecy - MIFA, Cartoon Forum, Cartoon Movie, among many others.
