Alejandro is an Industrial Engineer and holds a Master's in Anthropology. He has experience working in innovation and entrepreneurship projects at organizations like ANDI, the Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Tourism where he was representing Colombia as a negotiator at the Pacific Alliance Innovation Table. Later, he served as Acceleration Manager at Ventures Corporation. His current role is as partner and CEO of Genie Latin America SAS, a company promoting the corporate growth of established businesses and start-ups. So far, he has worked with over 4000 entrepreneurs from all the 32 departments in the country. Alejandro is also the Chief Growth Officer of Grovity, a platform that connects mentors with start-ups to accelerate their growth. He has been a mentor to over 100 start-ups and a speaker for more than 10.000 established companies in countries like Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Mexico, Argentina, Bolivia, and the Dominican Republic. During this time, he has also worked as a consultant for more than 150 companies in Latin America.
