Esteban is the CEO and cofounder of Sempli, a Fintech lending company, the leader in the SME lending sector in Colombia, and he is also a partner at Velum Inverlink, a Venture Capital Fund. Esteban has broad experience in raising capital and investing in early stage innovative start-ups and has worked for many technology companies, venture capital funds, and investment banking.

Esteban attended the EAFIT University where he studied Business Administration and holds a Master's from the ISM in France, additionally, he studied Entrepreneurial Studies at MIT in the United States.
