Marcela has been the Director of the entrepreneurial ecosystem, Manizales Mas, from its very beginning, eight years ago. Manizales Mas works in alliance with more than 14 organizations, both public, private, and academic, for the development and growth of entrepreneurs in the region.

She holds a Master's in Business Administration from the EAE Barcelona University, with recognition in academic excellence, and is an Economist who graduated from the Autonoma de Manizales University.

Marcela was the coordinator of the innovation park at SENA and co-creator of ParqueSoft. She has mentored over 100 companies with high growth potential and has been a speaker at the Global Entrepreneurship Congress in the 2018 edition held in Turkey, at MIT, Harvard, and Babson College, as well as in TEDx in the year 2015. She is a member of the National Entrepreneurship Technical Committee; and a mentor for the program Trayectoria MEGA.
