Giovanni is a Milanese, living in Bogota and serving as Google's country manager for Colombia, Central America, and the Caribbean. Giovanni graduated in Business Administration and worked in offline advertising sales (TV ads and print media) in Italy until 2007. He joined Google in 2008, where he had various sales roles in Dublin, Buenos Aires, and Bogota. Giovanni took a two-year break from Google to pursue an MBA at the London Business School. During that time, he also worked for Facebook for a short time.

He considers himself to be a passionate entrepreneur. He has been the co-founder and advisor for some start-ups in Italy, England, and Argentina. Besides, he has also served as an advisor for many brand names and non-profit organizations.
