Silvia Prietov
Silvia is the Director and Producer at Lucy Animation Studios. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Visual Arts and a Master's degree in Visual Arts and Classic Animation from Vancouver's Film School. In 2013, she became the winner of a full-ride scholarship, and in 2015, she received an Award at the Animex Festival for her work "Harmony". She also took home the BFM Award (Bogoshorts Film Market 2019) for Best Web Series Project.
She has over 5 years of experience in classic animation and has served as the Lead Animator of the animated series Pig, Goat, Banana, Cricket aired on Nickelodeon in 2016. Silvia's experience includes being the Director, Producer, and Art Director of over 15 TED-Ed sessions, as well as two internationally recognized documentaries featuring animated scenes "The Bit Player," and "The Condor and the Eagle." Moreover, an episode of Marvel TL DR (the Man-Thing), music videos for famous artists such as Lao Ra and Doja Cat. In 2020, she and the co-creators Luisa Fernanda Velasquez and Felipe of "Girl Power" won the Cartoon Network's Pitch contest.
Most currently, she is the Director and creator of MadHouse (an animated series for adults) produced by La Tina Studios, a pilot project film.
