Danielle Feinberg
He began his career at Pixar Animation Studios in February 1997, working for 18 years since then, and has been at the helm of nine of Pixar's 14 feature films: "A Bug's Life," "Toy Story 2," "Monsters, Inc." and the Academy Award ® "Finding Nemo," "The Incredibles," "Cars" and "Ratatouille.
Feinberg was director of photography and lighting for Oscar®-winning performances "WALL - E", "Brave" and "Coco". Recently she was the technical director, supervisor and director of photography-lighting at SparkShort "Loop" and is currently the technical director and supervisor of an upcoming Pixar
At the age of 23, Feinberg's first role at Pixar was technical director of rendering at "A Bug's Life", where he was in charge of a team of nine people, eight of whom were older than himself. She quickly discovered her love of lighting because of the unique combination of technology and art.
Feinberg went on to work as a lighting artist on many of Pixar's feature films, where she quickly rose through the ranks: from master lighting artist in "Toy Story 2," and "Monsters Inc." to lead lighting artist in "The Incredibles. About "Finding Nemo",
Feinberg assumed the role of GC supervisor of the ocean unit, where she was responsible for the teams that create the deep ocean scenes, the pink jellyfish field and the roller coaster ride with the turtles.
For "WALL - E", she returned to her passion for lighting as Director of Photography.
Lighting. In that capacity, she led a team of over 30 lighting artists to design and execute the "filmic" photorealistic look imagined by the film's director.
He was once again in a leading creative role as director of photography-lighting for "Brave", starring Pixar's first female lead. She has continued that role in several Pixar shows until she enters a new challenge as supervising technical director in the SparkShort "Loop" and an unannounced Pixar role currently in development.
