Since joining TED-Ed in 2013, Gerta has co-curated and managed the editorial and visual production of over 500 educational viewers, which have reached an audience of close to one billion worldwide. Her work helps spread intellectual ideas and lessons to young people on a global scale, allowing them access to education in an enjoyable and beautiful way.

Prior to TED-Ed, Gerta was the Creative Resource Manager at The Mill, an innovative and prominent visual effects studio, where she recruited and developed talent for the 2D department. She also produces design and animation independently for Kirart, and recently began teaching a Career Strategies course at the School of Visual Arts in New York City.
